Kicker L7s or Alpine Type-Rs?

I currently have two Kicker L7s 10" square subs in a sealed box with an Orion 1200D powering them.

Local person is seling his system of two 12" Alpine Type-Rs in a ported box with an Orion 2500D for $300.

One of my Kickers is semiblown, or I think it is since it makes this strange sound when playing music at high volume.

What should I do?

yes more cone area with the alpines and twice the power = more SPL

not more cone area, kickers are square, alpines are round its probably very VERY close

kicker = 100"^2

alpine = 113"^2 approx

box is ported for alpine, plus one of my kickers is semiblown so i'll just replace them with the type-rs although i prefer 10s.
