hey,

out of these subs which one will give me the best, loud hard hitting bass for rap music?

I am going to put them into a ported box. I want to beat my friends in spl. one of my friends has a L7 and it is loud ( if i got a L7 i would put more watts into it than he did). My other friend has a Infinity perfect. Which one of these subs do you think i can "beat" my friends with? If the sub you think will be able to help me out isn't these two, then please tell another sub that can help me.

choices:

-kicker L7

-Xtant x1244

Thanks

Are you limiting your self to those 2 subs or are you open to other options?? If you are there are other subs that would take out the L7 easy. Do you want any SQ at all or do you want just plain sick loud bass??? What amp would you be running to them??? How much space do you have

The reason I am asking all these questions is b/c it helps us deturmine what would work the best...

Other heavy SPL subs that come to mind are,

Mmats Juggernaut, W7s, RF HX2's, Death Penilty, and many many others

i was hoping to stick to these two subs, but if you think that neither of these will beat my friends systems then im open for suggestions. it doesn't matter to me if i have sq or not, as long as you can here me from a couple of blocks away!

Ok what size subs can you fit in your car. For SPL a 15 would do nice. The Juggernaut from Mmats is a SPL driver that is just sick loud. They would have no SQ but you would deffenetly get heard. Also the Death Penilty series from incriminator audio is a really good SPL driver. I plan on getting a 15 this summer and from what I have heard they are about the best IMO. IA also has some of the best customer service and when I have talked to them they have been very informative and very nice. These are just 2 of my fav SPL orented subs. There are many others...

Check them out...

Mind you just b/c you have a "good" sub and a "good" amp dosen't atimaticly mean you will have a good setup. Install is everything. With the proper install you can make these subs come to life and make them pound harder than anyother. Remember install install install. Those are the key words when you are looking for a "good" setup.

All of this is of course in my opinion but this opinion is shared with pretty much anyone who knows anything about car audio.

Good luck...

Jon
