kicker L7 knockoff?( for the people with L5s and L7s)

there is this audio store a couple blocks away from my house and they have some kicker L5s and L7s. the guy said he would sell me 2 15" kicker L7s for $500. but the thing is the i think they might be knock offs. on the box it says "designed and engineered by still water designs" and the box has blue and red designs on it. could these be fake. the cheapest i've seen these on the net are for $300 each! why would he sell me them for cheap? please if you have purchased L5s or L7s post some pics of the box and pics of the sub to help me out. thanks.

Stillwater Designs was Kicker AFAIK...I know they sold off a bunch of logo-less Kicker woofers on their site a while back, and may have gotten in trouble for doing so...

I belive they are still the same. It says stillwater designs on the bottom on kicker's website.

have you seen them any cheaper? i think they might be the older ones. the box they come in is blue and red with kickers design logo on it.
