Kicker L7 15'' 6cubic ft box Plans please

Me and a friend are going to try and build The biggest vented

box for the L7 Which is 6cubic ft by kicker specs but does any

body have a cheat sheet of the exact dimensions in inches???

With a draw out of the box and port

That is pretty big.Why not 4 1/2 cubes? Once you have the measurements go to a site like http://www.subwoofertools.com ?They will lay it out for you.....just click calculator.

you will be very happy with a box closer to 4 1/2-5 cubes. the 6 cubes DOES sound good and gets loud BUT is is much more geared at SPL only and not the best musical choice. I spent ALOT of time on the phone with kicker direct talking about box specs and in the end they helped be design and build one that comes in just a tiny bit over 5 cubes. i am VERY happy with it and per there designers in the middle of the biggest and smallest box they suggest is really the best place to be.

PS: i built 5 boxes ranging in size from 3 cubes each up to the full 6. use my works to save yourself some time. stick with atounf 4 1/2-5 cubes and call it a day. you will be glad you did

PPS: give them a ring. both the tech guys over there are VERY helpful and were willing to help with any questions i had. even called me back just do see how it turned out. A++ guys in my book

Actually, the bigger box will be better for music. A larger box will give the sub a flatter response, while the small box will have a larger peak. Burp boxes aren't big

that box size is too large IMO unless you only have a little bit of power to throw at the l7. if you have more than 600wrms going to the driver, do a smaller box.

that box size is not too large. i did many boxes for L7's and L5's last summer, and 5.5-6 cubes at 34-38hz will slam. anything between 4.5-6 will do pretty good, but 6 is by far the best for a daily driver L7 15. IMO>

port needs to be 3.5x16.25x13.75

my question is how to add this to my internal measurements h18 w24 d24 need help guys..

i can adjust the measurements to h24 w28 d28

You're probably going to have to pay up. Designing a box takes some work.
