i think actually the r's will kill in the loudness departmetn..the l7's will just sound betterpick one and go for it. depends on application but the L7 will easier to get louder. and dont go sealed.
i think you got it backwards....the L7's have more sd, but i believe the type R's have more xmax so it may be close on Spl.
