Kicker KX850.4! 2 Ohm Stable?

I plan to power my system with a KX850.4. The front 2 channels will power Polk seperates and 6x9's at 2 ohm stereo. The rear two channels will be bridged to power a single subwoofer. A couple of installers have told me the amp should run at 2 ohms mono just fine, but Kicker says on the specs, the amp is only 4 ohm stable in mono mode.

I know Kicker amps are powerful and conservatively rated, but has anyone here know for certain whether or not 2 ohm mono is possible on the KX850.4 with a professional install, 4 guage wire, and box built to specs? Please let me know. I appreciate any input.

4 gauge will NOT cut it. I had 4 on mine and it got HOT and clipped bad. I put 0 gauge on it and it sounds better, gets louder, and stays cooler. I am looking to run my 200.2 @ 2 ohm if possible and getting a second 850.4 as well.

4channel amps usually hate a 2ohm bridged load even more than a 2ch does for some reason. It might be able to do it, but the amp wouldnt be very happy. I bridged the 2 rear channels of a Fosgate 400.4 to a dvc4 sub before, and while it never cut out, it ran very hot
