Kicker kx600.1 help.

Well I bought one off ebay and not even paying attention until now I realized it is not 1ohm stable!

I am powering 4 8" RE RE subs with this, and was looking for something in the 600watt range at 1ohm!

Can this amp handle a 1ohm load? Otherwise I need to rethink and possibly sell this amp for something in my range!

Any help would be apprciated!

You are scaring me. That's what I have and thought I had 600W going to my single 12 SE.

OK... nevermind, I am an idiot. I got teh subs mixed up with some others I was looking at and just realized it!

But for insurance. I can wire up 4- 4ohm DVC subs to a 2ohm stable load... right?

OK... I feel better now. Just a misprint in my writing for different setups!

Intercooler so long as your sub is wired for 2ohms you are getting your 600+watts! Sorry about the scare man!

That amp pushed my 2 12" Rubicons almost as well as my 1kw Arc class T

they were single 4 ohm subs paralleled down to 2 ohms. I bought mine new, it was the sx series amp too. It might be that the amp rellies a lot on its bass boost function which I hardly use. cut the bass bost let me know what kind of results u get. My birth certificate also stated 675 max power, which to me sounds like peak watts not rms so the headroom is kinda small and makes me question actual rms values.
