Kicker KX 650.4 am I wrong? can it run 2 8ohm drivers?

Ive got a used n broke kicker kx 650.4 in my room here, want to get it fixed and buy some mids to run off of it. But I cant find ANY info really on specs. I know its 120rms X 4 @ 4ohms. But I cant find any info on what it becomes if you bridge the chanels to make is a 2 chanel amp.

Im also interested to know what rms it would put out for a set of 8ohm drivers (2 of them) and if I would be able to run this amp @ 8ohm to run both of the drivers and what kind of power it would be putting out

The 8 ohms number would likely be around half the watts it puts out at 4 ohms.

Completely forgot about the ampguts website thank you for posting that. And any amp can be wired to 8ohm impedance bridged. So youre saying somewhere in the ball park of 160ish rms

Im trying to run some drivers on it that are capable of 200rms if I buy them

Anyone ever tried bridging an amp to 8 ohm? Was hoping to get 150rms to each 10

Halve the above figures for it's power output at 8ohm bridged.

I've run many amps at 8 ohms bridged. You probably won't have a noticeable difference, depending on the amp you might not get quite as much power, but the increase in efficiency can make up the difference.

I had a pair of older Alpine 10's, one 4 and one 8 ohm, same series. I did an A/B test with all other variables the same. Powered by a Linear Power 952. I couldn't tell a noticeable output difference between the two, even at full volume.
