Kicker KX 1200.1 Amp not working?

I have a Kicker 1200.1 Amp that wont put any sound out. I have everything hooked upright amp protection goes from red to green you can hear amp kick on fan spins for a second and quits and the top leds dim (is this supposed to happen?)and nothing comes out of the speaker outs I ve checked my rcas and their working so I know its not anything with the wiring to the amp does anybody know what it could be? check your speaker wires for a short if that doesnt help the amp is malfunctioning and needs to be repaired. amps arent supposed to go haywire on you..........

Youve got a point there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I had it hooked up to a computer today and they ordered the part from kicker, didnt tell me what it was tho they said that more than likely the person before me had hooked it up backwards before and scared something and eventually it burnt out anyways its only gonna cost me 30.00 to fix it. thanks for the reply
