KICKER DX 700 1ohm stable?

If Kicker says it is not 1 ohm stable, its a good chance its not 1 ohm stable. With that said, run it at one ohm and see how it does at lower volumes.

Maybe you can try using a dmm and setting your gains to see what type of volts its putting out and then figure out the power from there.

I dont know if that makes sense?

I used to run my MTX 801D at 1 ohm, I did it for about 2 years before upgrading to a 1 ohm amp, it did get warm, but it never shut off or went into protect.

That little thing was a tank, maybe you will have the same luck!

Yeah I could always just try it out, I was just wondering if anybody knew already. I know the old kicker amps are built like tanks so it might be up to it.

I used to have that amp. I used it to power a pair of 4ohm PG Ti sub. I wired it at a 2ohm load and it never had a problem with shutting off. It took a beating. When I got the AA sub, I tried to use that amp again, it did not work well. The AA sub was a DVC 2ohm and it would shut off after a few minute of playing. It got really hot too.

So for me at least, it is not stable at 1ohm. I did buy the amp used though.
