Kicker CVR 12 with Kicker ZX 750.1

I upgraded my amp for my Kicker CVR 12 sub. I bought the Kicker ZX 750.1 amp. My Kicker CVR 12 inch sub is 4 ohm dual voice coil. How should I wire my setup? Should I wire it to 2 ohms or 4 ohms? I want to get the best out of the sub without blowing it.

Keep the gains down though or you might feed that sub a little too much power and cook it.

Agreed.

Puts the Pos and hte Negs together, wire it down to 2ohm. Be very careful, that is excessive power for that woofer.

I'm cool for now. I just bought the amp its not even installed yet. I wanna hear how this sounds first. Is it possible to wire a 4 ohm sub to 2 ohms?

Yeah. With a DVC4 you can do either 2ohms or 8ohms.
