Kicker 750.1 vs 850.2

I have a 15" Kicker L7 DVC 4 ohm and want to push it without blowin it up! My question is: What would be better the new Kicker 750.1 or the older 850.2? The older amp is 4 ohm stable when it is bridged. The 750.1 is 2 ohm stable and I know that most are rated around 900 watts RMS on their birth sheets. I'm not sure about what the 850.2 will push out?

You could only run the 850.2 @ 8 ohms bridged with that sub. The 750.1 is the better choice for you.
