kicker 6.5 free air midbass

Im guessing your talking about the ssmb6 ? If so ive heard plenty of good things about these . Nice mid bass - Cheap price . I remember someone on here saying that they rattled his rear view when he had them as rear fill so I guess they have to thump a bit. I was looking into buying these myself but am still undecided on a few others

yes those were what i was talking bout i am thinking of getting some for my rear fill might sound good with the subs in the rear as well for the lows and the mids in the middle and the highs and some more mids upfront should sound pretty good

so are these pretty much all bass and no highs since the frequency is 35-500hz

or can it be used for a mid basically

also if i have a 6.5 speaker in there now can i fit a 8inch kicker midbass in that spot

can these be run in a sealed box in the rear? all the info i saw say free air but if my subs are sealed and the back wave of these goes into the trunk will that interfere with the subs? would i just make the biggest box i could in the space i have?

probaly since they're free air, but i doubt they will take as much power without any enclosure considering they're pretty shallow and will most likely bottom out pretty easily

i have 3 12w6 in the car but want too put those down lower and add a little more midbass to make up for only having 5 1/4 s in the front. im just wondering if i put these in a sealed box on the rear deck is there anything wrong with that?
