kicker 400.1 for one 12" re se???

I have a friend selling a 400.1 Kicker amp.

I did some research and its class D and from what i understand this amp is comparable to other amps that are "manufacturer rated" at 600-700rms. comes with bass control knob and everyone seems to rave about the kicker amps ive noticed when i was previously looking into the 750.1, but would this be sufficient and thump cleanly for one 12" RE SE in more than likely a ported 1.5cuft enclosure(w/e the box ends up it will be small)

worthwhile at all?

oh and selling price is $100...

i drive a 2006 Honda Civic SI coupe and need to fit a bike in trunk through back seats, so with this constraint box will probly be 1.0cuft sealed(i dont think i have enough room to port)

I dont want to spend a dime unless its going to be somewhat badass. Im no bass head though.

solid amp. and a good combo. should work great. that woofer would work fine in a .75cu sealed enclosure to save room.

you will be fine with that amplifier

it should be giving you around 500 watts RMS

pretty good price

BTW..the SE likes (low tuned) ported boxes alot, I wasnt satisfied with it sealed

I love Mine that I have. Have it on a 15 sub dual 2ohm running it at 4 ohms. Works great for what I have it for. Good amp. BUY IT.
