Kicker 17 15'' or ?

I was planning to get two kicker L7 15'' i will be using a 1000.1 alpine amp

with a custom ported box (not build yet)

i wanted to know if their was anything better than L7 15'' for the same price

any other options

For SPl they are pretty loud for less money there is not much that can hang.

18" Fi Q. will get loud on 1k.

You owuld be better off with a 4.5 cubes and 1 15" L7 un less you have plenty of space in your car, a single 18" might be a good compromise.

more than 1K though! if youre going to have 2 15's, get a 2500.1 or somethin

^ wow i surprised it wasnt said earlier. 1000watts is not enough power for 2L7 15s period.

you need atleast 1500 to get the potential out of those subs

2 ported 15s will take up alot of room 9ish cubes.....unless you have an suv then you probably wont have enough room. I say 1 ported off of 1Kw will do you better

Get the L7s at onlinecarstereo.com They are most likely going to be the cheapest and offer a one year warranty.

That amp wont be enough to power those subs. What kind of vehicle are these going in? If its a car just put 1 15 L7 and that Alpine 1000.1 amp. That will be good and plenty loud. You might as well get a 12 inch kicker solo X. Because the price difference isn't much

yes one will be louder than 2 with that amp. if you have good money and all.. i would say get a 3000 watt amp, the 2 08 L7s, and some good electrical stuff to be all set. with that 1K amp, i would only run one 15. i will vouch that the 08 L7 is better than the previous models too. i love mine!

Yea but the only reason why is cuz that amp wont push 2 kicker L7s. Because the amp only handles 1000 watts rms and one 15 L7 can push 1000 watt rms. So if you put 2 L7s on that amp they will only get 500 watts rms to each sub. And they should have 1000 watts rms each. hope that makes since.

yes i am going with one 15'' . but im wasting about $300 just on the box. i believe the box makes a huge difference

I prefer one with the right amount of wattage or being overpowerd then 2 underpower.
