Has anyone competed with the kicker 12L7 dual 4ohm subs? I just bought two of them and tryin to find out what people have hit with them on the meters

148.7 @ 53.2 on the TL mic pushed with a concept 2410 amp at 1ohm. Using a second battery at 16.2v output for the sub amp. Hit that last year. Lost, but ranked in the top 3. Wasn't my setup but I helped with the building.

buddy of mine is doin a 151 w/ 2 10s on the TL. in a explorer. huge box. but they suc on music though. bottom out easily

i'm going to be using 3 12L7's now since i ordered a third one any idea's on the total ft^3 and tuning for the box?

What class u compete in SBlazer? I'm in MECA S3, M3 and DB3

you are aware that it doesn't really matter how many subs you add right? You can run 4 12"s if you wanted and two 10"s or even 1 10" can be louder than you. It all depends on your electrical system and your setup.

yeah, i can have a solo x 18, but if im feeding it 200 watts, it wont help too much. you have to have power like raisedin said.

That and your setup (enclosure) you can have 3 or 4 12"s each getting 750rms and have two 10"s getting 500watts rms tunned high (48hz) and say in a spl competition the two 10"s own the 12"s.

not really i had a stock electrical system in my last car and 2 audiobahn 12's and a throw togther 9.1ft^3 box and hit a 149.9db and a mmats d200 amp

What was used to measure your score? What subs were they (what model of audiobahn)?

i have two 12 L7's powered by a kicker 1200.1 amp @1 ohm. and o ya its in a reg cab s-10! lol its nutz.

i had 2 aw1200q's and it was on the new T/L, and the box was tuned at 37Hz.

I"m thinkin about build a 9.11ft.^3 tuned at 44Hz for these 3 L7's
