Kicker 1200.1 way more power than DEI 1100d?

Is the Kicker 1200.1 a way more powerful amp than the Directed 1100d? I had a 1100d I was using, and I was wondering if with my new amp (1200.1) im going to need to upgrade my alt / battery.

My alt is 130 amp, have a yellow top.

shit, if u have a alt that puts out 130A and u have a yellow top. Your all set bro. You don't need to upgrade no more. Just make sure you run 1/0 all around.

The Kicker is more powerful but not by anything noticeable.

cause kicker stuff is expensive(not including cvr) and dei stuff isnt both are work great though. What are you powering
