Don't expect these to sell, but craigslist isn't doing too much as of now, so might as well take a shot.

Item(s) for Sale:

2x 12" Kicker CompVR Subs in a 3/4" MDF Ported Enclosure

Item(s) Description/Condition:

The subs are used but in very good condition to excellent condition. Bought new two months ago, they are the 2012 model, both D2, and have only been used for approx. 10 hours of actual power. 400W RMS each, nothing too crazy compared to what I've got now, and what everyone else has haha, but for the price they aren't a bad buy.

Price:

All pricing you find anywhere is for the 2010 models which range from $120 - $150. I paid the $150 a piece which doesn't matter too much but I'm asking $120 shipped each sub, or $300 local (within 50 or so miles, I'm in RI) for both subs and enclosure. Otherwise I could do $100 local per sub. Prices are semi-negotiable, so PM me and we can work something out.

Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information:

Shipped from RI, will be in original packaging, within another box, shipping is included in the item price. Recently shipped an amp to CA and it cost $20 via FedEx so that's what I'm basing prices on.

The reason I have them at the 120 is because they're 2012's. I guess $100 shipped each? What'd be the cheapest way to ship a sub? Might have a local buyer, given the box fits.

Trades?? Loved my old 08cvr 12s wouldn't mind trying these out
I bought a set of these new ones off Craigslist in the "Livin' Loud" box for something to throw in the wife's minivan. Even in that high tuned box they got pretty low and loud. Better than the silver ones in my opinion...

Like I said, They aren't bad subs. I feel like Kicker gets more flack than they deserve.

They take flack I think because they've become a "mainstream" brand. They are overpriced in my opinion for what you get but I still think the original Kicker Comp is a good budget sub (at the 60 dollar price point) that can be ran off small amps and make decent noise. No matter if people want to admit or not Kicker is the main brand that go a lot of us into this "hobby", if you will, in the first place. A kid can still get a couple Comp 12's, throw em' in a big ol' ported box and throw a cheap 2 channel amp at them and make a lot of noise for 200 bucks. Nothing wrong with that....

My friend is temporarily running 4x Comps wired down to 1 ohm on 1kw from a Phoenix Gold R1000.1 in a nice big ported box and it hit pretty **** hard for four $50 subs. The CVRs aren't bad and they definitely get low.
