Kicker 08S15L74 or Rockford Fosgate T215D4?

I'm new to the car audio scene so forgive my ignorance. I think I've got it narrowed between two and I'm leaning toward the the Rockford Fosgate.

I'm going for power over quality. But the quality is also important. Basically, which subwoofer is going to be louder? And at the same time, which one

is going to have a clearer, deeper bass? Again, I know there's many threads asking for help choosing between two subwoofers but I could not find the two I selected.

EDIT: I drive a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT.

I haven't had any experience with either but I had some of the older L7s and liked them, what kind of power do you have for them?

Well, my friend is hooking me up with some good deals, but I really don't know enough. I'm just starting to grasp what to look at in a subwoofer. But I'm thinking maybe a Kicker amplifier like this one: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=19320

I'm not paying the prices indicated on this site. This is just a reference.
