here are the fiberglass kicks i had made. this is the drivers side, the square hole at the top is the cutout for the hood latch. how bad will this mess up my sound, can i block it off with sound deadener or something? cut a hole in the deadener for the rod the hood latch attaches to?
components are some alumapro alc 6.2's.
also, how does this setup look for imaging? it looks to me like the drivers component will be aimed at the passenger and vice versa. the tweets look like they'll be aimed at the person on that side.
im going to use my orion 8004 to run them for now. will i be better off bridging it into 2 channels, and attenuating the tweets with the jumpers on the crossover, which would give me 400x2 (i think anyway, at least 200x2) or should i do bi amping, and run 100x2 to the mids and the same turned way down on the tweets? the components should handle over 100 rms.
