The KCA-SR50 adapter lets you control a SIRIUS satellite radio with your Kenwood stereo. This adapter works with newer Kenwood stereos equipped with a CD changer connection, letting you control either of the following:
* the SC-C1 SiriusConnect universal tuner;
* a compatible SIRIUS portable radio, like the Sportster, Starmate, Stratus, or Stiletto, together with a SiriusConnect vehicle kit.
The KCA-SR50 adapter sends song text to the Kenwood stereo's display, and lets you browse SIRIUS channels by using your Kenwood stereo's controls. The KCA-SR50 adapter does not have a pass-through connection. You'll need to purchase an adapter if you want to connect multiple Kenwood components (CD changer, iPod adapter, etc.) to your in-dash receiver.
