kerfing question

Aeros>kerfing, IMO
in more than one way, kerfing is nice to impress people, but it takes skill and practice in fabricating them, not to mention after you get all the materials to properly reinforce the bend it's just as expensive as an aero.

i dont have the depth to get the tuning i want with the port area i want with aeros, and i love the look of kerfs.
well, you can add 90 degree bends in the AP so it doesn't have to be a straight shot.

but there are plethora's of articles about kerfing. Most tell you to make cuts about .5" deep at uniform intervals, depending on how severe you want the kerf to be. then you fill the cracks with glue or something, and then you glass the back end of the kerf to make it strong again.

that's what I read anyway.

ive done 90s on aeros before, and i just want to try something different. its fun to learn and do new things.
understandable

I had this idea to have a port that ran coincident to the subwoofer in a semi circle, it's more of a novelty than it is a practical thing, but people get off on fancy stuff like that.

and thanks again for taking time to help me.
No problem man, it's what I do.
