I really like the 889... it's about the same as the 25th but the 25th has a better screen.

Im also thinking about buying it im drawn between that the Clarion DRZ9255, Alpine 7998, and Eclipse 8445/8455, but im leaning more toward the Clarion.

NOT exactly...the XXV-01D uses better capacitors in the output section for the RCA's.
