kenwood xr-1s power shut down

i have an xr-1s pushing a mtx 5500 and it is a lovely setup. amazing sounding. out of the blue today, the amp cut off. no blown fuse, not to hot. ( i dont think) i was jammin out when it happened but this setup has been a rock since i set it up. now the amp will not power on at all. im lost, and a lil pissed. any ideas, opinions guys?

Check grounds/remote wire

Check inline fuse and fuses in the amp, also check your ground to the amp and the battery terminals are tight and batt is charged and not bugger'd
