today i got my kenwood x995 in the mail and installed it. im pleased to say that im very happy with it so far. i havent quite figured out how to use it and i see why everyone seemed to complain about the cluttered buttons around the volume knob.
one thing that i especially like is that you can control your ipod while plugged into the usb with the ipod itself. my friends never figured out how to use my old head unit that didnt have this feature. im very happy with the sound, and i have yet to go through a lot of the features available and i still have to shape the sound 100% to my liking.
since ive only had pioneer and eclipse head units, i was hesitant about buying a kenwood or any other unit for that matter. but so far im really liking this guy. i picked it up because it was very similar as far as features goes to my eclipse cd5030 and a lot of people were recommending it.
i got it for 240 bucks new and im highly recommending this unit to anyone looking for a unit in the 250 - 350 dollar range.
