Which processor?

I'm preparing to do a factory integration setup and have been looking into processors. I have never used one before so I'm looking for opinions. I think I have it boiled down to either the JBL MS8 or the Alpine PXE-H660. I know the ms8 does a bit more in terms of processing and EQ but is it really THAT much better than the Alpine unit? I can get the ms8 for around $500 but found the 660 for $200. Is it worth the extra $300?

depends on the rest of the system, what your expectations are for manual tuning, what you want to connect to it, and what vehicle you have.

they are two different solutions for two different applications.

read through both owner's manuals - that will give you a full idea of what each can do. then decide what features you need, what features you don't. keep in mind how you want to control it and volume.
