Kenwood X993 vs. Pioneer P980 vs. Eclipse 7200 vs. Alpine

Looking for a good h/u, with good functionality, SQ, MP3 handling, etc. Bang for the buck the Kenwood seems to be a good unit. I do plan on running a couple of 8 inch subs and a set of ID separates - unsure on amps yet or brand of subs. This will be going into a Colorado quad cab. Would like to stay on the upper end of a mfr's selection...

What would everyone's pick be bang for the buck considered? Functionality and interface is most important, SQ is next most important.

my opinion i would go with either the kenwood, alpine, eclipse because pioneer headunit are nice headunits but there rca jacks out puts have bad grounds which can causes noise from the rca jack out puts

if you install them right and dont hot swap them, then there shouldnt be a problem. i was in the same boat as you. i went with an 800PRS because of being able to go active.

I'd personally go with the 7200, i want to get my hands on one of those myself, kenwood makes an awesome h/u as well, i absolutely love my x791, i'd like to go active though
