Kenwood X1200M VS Orion XTR10001

Okay I have 2 12" Orion Subs and they are both 500 Watts RMS. My old amp for it broke so the place i got it from told me they could hook me up with the Kenwood X1200M or for 100 More Dollars I can get a Orion XTR10001 amp (which they say is amazing) I dont know much about car audio so which amp would be better for me to get?

This is a Kenwood review...I did connect the amp to a 1 ohm load to verify that it will play at that impedance. The amp worked fine at 1 ohm until I really got on it, while listening to bass heavy tracks like Billy Idols “Prodigal Son.” Twice, when pushed hard into the 1 ohm load, I managed to blow the three 30A fuses. So, to be fair, the amp will certainly play 1 ohm loads, but it will blow the fuses before it makes as much power as it does into 2 ohm loads, which is what I would recommend.
