kenwood touch screen... universal security code?

i bought a used kenwood kvt-911dvd. hooked it all up and its askin for a security code. i do not have the code. is there like a universal one i cam punch in to erase the old one?? hope someone can help

contact who you bought it from they will give you the code. if you stole it or bought it stolen well you will get no help here

i contacted the owner and he does not remember the code. he had the unit uninstalled for a year or so before he deicied to sell. this is not stolen. bought from a friend

HOLY SHIT This happened to me when i had my 911... i went to a place he charged me 20 $ and did it.. its a sequence of buttons u gotta press on the remote to unlock it, i dont member it..but he looked it up and did it.. make sure all ur wires are connected also..

BAD *** HEAD UNIT...get the navi for it also

just try 0000. if not do the universla unlock. no luck with that. brute force that bish and flash it

and i can add that i did buy this and the old owner cant remember the code. and everything i read i have to have the orginal recept. if thats true i am screwed
