Kenwood sub deal

Hey, I'm new here but i got a question. Crutchfild.com has a sale on right now where you can get 2 Kenwood KFC-W3005 12's for $129. I have a rockford fosgate punch 40 amp that puts out about 300 watts...i had some old kenwood 10's that couldnt handle the power and sounded poorly. My questions are: (1) Are these subs good? (2) Is this a good deal? (3) Can my amp power these adaqualely?

Addition- i just found this deal too... Buy one get one free Polk GNX124 12's for $159....Which would be a better deal? and which would suit my purpose better?

My advice, stand down from the subs you are considering now and grab you some Alpine Type R's. . . They can be had for 119.00 from Ikesound.com. Later

Those look like a tremendous deal...My only dilemma- Is 300 watts enough to adaquately power 2 of those? if not, could someone suggest a new amp in the $400 range? Thank you
