Kenwood question

I was just wondering why no one likes Kenwood amps? Because I need an amp for my subs and I already have a kenwood 4 channel powering my components and I was thinking about getting another Kenwood for my sub. But, everyone says stay away but not really why. Just curious, thanks.

They aren't bad, but you can usually find a cheaper amp with more power. I used to sell a bunch of them, and as long as you weren't trying to run them too hard, they worked fine!! If you like it, then go for it!!

If you're happy with your existing Kenwood and want another one then get one...you're the one who needs to like it, not anybody else.

i've had a few. to me they allways did great. put out rated power unlike other amps. what model are u looking at?

Thanks for the replies, I was just concerned that they were junk or something. I'm also thinking about getting a Cadence txa-1000D though and I might be able to find one cheaper than the Kenwood.

u probably could. if u have your heart set on one look for used ones. some places allso sell the re-ferb units that are just as good as new. crutchfield i know sells them from time to time.
