I got a kenwood kdc-516s and its got front outputs so how do I hook up my subs and rear to it?

i dont really understand your question. but you shouldnt b running a woofer straight off the deck. and the rears should have hookups in the back of the kenwood?

i assume you mean it only has one rca out put......if this is the case and you want to use 2 amps you can use "y" splitters to split the rcas for 2 amps.

I got the code yo unlock the HU but when I put it in nothing happens, is there some kind of buttons that I have to press?

that could be your AUX if that model has it. if not the unlabled one is prolly the sub amp rca's

Pretty much any Kenwood remote control will work with any remote controllable HU.

I still have an old credit-card style remote (cannot recall the model # currently) that I bought as an option with a KAC-608 cassette deck some years ago.

I still use that remote to this day with my XXV-01D since it has direct-access source buttons rather than having to scroll through the available options via the source button on the newer remotes.
