kenwood or hifonics?

you are looking at max watts. ignore those and pay attention to rms or nominal power ratings.

to be honest with you i dont no much about the rms man lol but does anybody have expeirence with these amps

neither are bad amps. kenwood states 900 rms and i think the hifonics is 750 rms. both at 2 ohms i believe. i would get the kenwood and get a decent dual 4 ohm sub that handles 750 - 1000 rms.

its usually half the max power if not less. so 2000max = 1000 ( (rms) = all day long) but its prob more like 750 with those subs. google the subs and find the specs on them

yeah those subs are prob pretty old...i have no clue about how much power they can take

i just did a quick check, an alpine xr 12" is a 600 RMS sub, so put somewhere around 600-750 watts to it, now read up on the amps, check ohm loads and go back to kindergarden and pick the best match

i think its anywhere from 750 - 1000, i searched everywhere alpine.com doesnt even have them, there are type r, type x but mine say xr? i think they are older maybe

okay are your subs dual 2 ohms or dual 4 ohms? look on the sub it should state it on the bottom or something
