Kenwood KVT 617

I have a KVT 617 head unit and just purchased a 5.1ch DSP control hideaway brain. Now the pigtail on the head unit is a 21 pin female square connection and the one on the hideaway is a 8 pin round female or the one marked to 5L I/F is a 16 pin female both round how do I hook up the head unit to this hideaway
