Kenwood KRC-560 Remote

I have a Kenwood KRC-560 with the remote mount 6-cd changer. I would like to install it in a '92 Ford Explorer that has the factory remote amp that powers all four door speakers. Can I use the remote wire from the Kenwood to turn on the factory amp? Mainly, I don't want to rewire all the speakers to run directly from the Kenwood and I don't plan on using a sub.
