Kenwood KIV-700 and KIV-BT900 Ipod video Input, Hmmmmmmmmm

I wonder if it is possible to use this input for a rearview camera. I know the unit wouldn't show the image automatically when shifted in reverse, but would it work at all?

My Rant:
