very little differences, but i'd go for the pioneer for the 5 band eq vs kenwood's 3 band eq, both have usb input but the kenwood has one in the front and one in the back. Other then that, basically identicalt.

from my experiences, the cheaper pioneers tend to sound bright and kenwoods have a flat sound, both have 24 bit D/A coverters. Sound quality shouldn't be too far apart with either unit, just pick one you'd like more. You can tweek the pioneer's sound a bit more then the kenoods with the 5 band eq.
