kenwood kdc-mp638u problem please help

i have a kenwood KDC-MP638U

i have one serious problem with it if i turn the volume up past about half way it will shut its self off and then turn back on and do the same thing unless i turn the volume to zero then back up is there any solutions to this problem? thank you

Maybe you have a weak ground on it?

i ran a ground straight from the cd player to the negative terminal on the battery casue i thought that could b ethe problem too but it didnt seem to fix it

I had the same issue and it was because the tweeters in my components were bad.

could be a short in your speakers
