Kenwood KDC-138 help!!

Hi all, I need any info on weather or not a kenwood KDC-138 CD receiver can be wired to give me a mono output signal without damaging it. This unit is being installed in an aircraft to play through an audio panel, intercom, and headsets. Will only be used for the CD function, and I am totally deaf in one ear, so I need a mono signal so I'm not hearing only half of the separation. HELP!!!!!
