Kenwood KAC-9104D 1ohm Stable?

Im going to be using the Kenwood KAC-9104D amp to power a Kicker 12" L7. The enclosure the sub is in presents a 4ohm load, so i wanted try wiring it down to 1ohm to get more power, has anyone used this amp before or know that it is reliable to play continously at 1ohm? I have herd some people say that this amp will go into protect mode if you play it longer than 10 mins. at 1ohm, any thoughts?

it says it is 1 ohm stable but havent tried. I have my L5's wired to an 2 ohm load

it will play for a long time above 1ohm. The amp has balls. For the price its one of the better more reliable amps to buy.
