kenwood excelon

I'm looking to buy the kenwood excelon kdc-x996. My local shop wants 300$to for it, but i can buy it on ebay for as cheap as 215$ for a new non refurbished one. Im skeptical about buying online in case of any warranty issues.is there a good place online to buy excelon's warranty-wise or should i just pony up and pay the local guy?

Not sure im going to buy it at the dealer, just got a quote. Quote was for the excelon kdc-x996, steering wheel control interface, sirius tuner. Came in at 490$. Amazon has theradio and satellite tuner for $283.49

if you are really worried about the warranty then buy it from an authorized dealer.

You can usually check kewoods site for a list of dealers.

Of all the head units I have had...50+ easily..one of them had issues. It was the old Pioneer with the ribbon cable which happened to everyone.

Other than that I have never had an issue

I talked to a couple local dealers, 300 for hu. Neither of them wants to move at all on price, ended up buying online. 215$.
