Finally got this installed yesterday. Man I love this Unit. It can do everything and it's perty. Ron at Steet Effectz does awesome work. Enjoy!!!!
Their retail shop is actually in Colonia but they just got a new Fabrication shop about 1/2 mile away in Rahway. Looks like they are doing pretty good for themselves.cool.....
i hear he does great work- they still in rahway?
It has a ton of features and set up options to mess around with. Trying to tune it perfectly yesterday but didn't have too much time to play around. The equalizer is awesome. And I love the Tilt screen, it has 6 different angles. I'll be sure to give my full review later on this week.I'm thinking about getting that unit....from a tunability standpoint, how is it? many gadgets to tinker with to perfect the stage? Did you get the DSP? lol....i kinda want a small review, but lastly, what did you pay for it? thanks.
Yeah, it's not crooked at all. Level as can be. I know they used ABS, router and sand paper, not sure if they used duramix, they said they had to spray it with something to give it that stock finish look, not sure what they used.yea it does look rather clean. the top shots it looks crooked, but i think itsbecaues the bottom of the dash tapers there. im sure its level... the paintmatch looks A+ too. thats my favorite part, along with that superb bevel.
i wonder what he made it out of. id be willing to guess duramix40\40 and some 1\4" ABS plastic panels... a router, and lots of sandpaper //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
good job. id like to see more stuff if they have a site //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif - i love to browse other installs.
most importantly-how long was turnaround? It has a ton of features and set up options to mess around with. Trying to tune it perfectly yesterday but didn't have too much time to play around. The equalizer is awesome. And I love the Tilt screen, it has 6 different angles. I'll be sure to give my full review later on this week.
Paid $850 for the unit and $250 for the custom fabricated kit and install.
i would be quite interested in hearing what they sprayed on it to get that color\texture.Yeah, it's not crooked at all. Level as can be. I know they used ABS, router and sand paper, not sure if they used duramix, they said they had to spray it with something to give it that stock finish look, not sure what they used.
