Kenwood DNX8120 in 2007 Mercedes C230...Help?

Ok, so I am thinking of putting the DNX8120 into my 2007 C230. I am told by many articles and stores that its not possible because of no kit or harness. However, people who have the car say that it is possible. So I coming here to look for any more info about the parts needed and/or install info. I will likely get a store to do it in the end, but I dont want to start buying stuff until I know its going to work.

I also need some help withe buying part. I want to save money as much as possible, so I have found the unit brand new on the web starting around $1000, however I am told that I cannot have warranty with kenwood when doing that. I am told that I would have to deal with the person I bought from, which may or may not tell me to get lost. If I buy from a dealer, the price seems to be more like $1600, but the warranty is there for longer so I am told. I dont want anything refurb or old. I want all new.

why not get it on ebay new? I just bought a Pioneer AVH-P6000DVD HU for $452 in brand new condition. It retails for either $700 or $1000 retail, so i saved big either way

I own a CLK and I'll tell you right now it's totally doable. I personally have the DDX812 and all you need for wiring is a VW Metra harness, a converter box to tap the factory Bose amp if your going to still use it ( I forget which one mine is, but I'll find out tonight) and you're set to go.
