Kenwood DNX-5120 iPod Connection Problem

I just had a DNX-5120 Kenwood Nav Unit Installed with the Kenwood iPod Cable. I cannot figure out what the problem is with the iPod connection. I have a 5th Generation 30GB iPod Video and when I plug it in it says on the Nav screen that it is disconnected and will not read the music but on the ipod screen it has the do not disconnect screen on it. Does anyone have any idea what I need to do?

Solution: Don't buy Kenwood???

Read somewhere that it happens when the ipod connection is lose at the Ipod. I unplugged mine and plugged it back in nice and tight and put it in a good flat spot and it hasn't happened since. Just a thought.

never had this issue and ive put tons of kenwood ddx/dnx series units in with the kcaip300v cable

Ended up being a faulty cable, just picked up a new one.
