Free bump for OP...I have this HU and it does do hi and low pass filtering. It is effectively a full active crossover and has a silly number of pre-ins and outs. I have mine hooked to a mono sub and and a 4 channel and the ability to fine tune everything is sick. Full Dolby 5.1, DVD, DSP, etc....my guess is that Kenwood put TOO much into this and had problems selling...jmo.

I am interested in just the HU, so break it up and you have those two parts gone..
