Kenwood DDX-6019 Playing Scratchy

I've had this HU installed for about 6 months or so and never had a problem before yesterday ... I just thought It was the cd so I switched to the radio and rode it out ... then today I tried a bunch of cds and they all played the same ... its like the cd is skipping and a dj is scratching the beat every 2 or 3 seconds ... anyone ever had a similar problem with any HU? I put a dvd in and there was like lines in it and it was playing like when you download a movie from the internet and the timing is off and the words sound all scratchy ... I'm thinking it needs to be cleaned but I dunno ... any suggestions?

you probally got a dirty disc in it and have dirt on the laser eye...a good quality CD cleaner ought to fix it....

^^^ Thats what i'm hoping for ... do you know of any good cd cleaners specifically for HU's? or is it all the same ish?
