hey, whats up yall? i have a kenwood kac-729 amplifer 600watt max power, that worked great for about 3 years untill 2 weeks ago, when it quit working, it has power to the amp, ground is good and remote wire is good, but the power light will not come on, any ideas? thanks alot.

i did, and there good, the one on the 8 gauge battery going to the amp blew, so i replaced it and it dident blow agian, but then the amp in the fuse then blew, so i replaced it and it never blew agian, and right now there is lots of power going into the amp

Youre amp might be dead, are you sure there is power going into the remote lead on the amp? Try connecting the +12v and the REM lines together and see if it turns on then. If it still doesnt work then its probably the amp.

o.k i will try that tomorow, so do i just use a peice of normal wie and use it as a jumper? so i touch the positive and remote wire at the same time, while they are still connected to the amp? thanks.
