No experience with the Kenwood, but I would definitely recommend an 880.

Have one in my truck, and love it.

I've been pretty set on the 880. I just want to check around a bit and make sure threre isn't better for same money. And looks of 880 count for a bit for me too.

I love the Excelon line. SQ is awesome. Honestly I would be happy with either one. Both are excellent head units.

Everyone seems to like the 880 right now so I'd say get it.

never liked kenwood's offerings tuning wise. haven't looked up the specs of the kenwood but it probably doesn't offer a 3 way crossover and probably at best a 4 band peq. the 880 has 3 xover and 16 band graphic per side. nuff said.

The pioneer offers more adjustability and it is much easier to use IMHO. Plus it should be significantly less expensive. The only thing you lose is the color display, which I for one don't care about.
