how the hell do i unlock this security shit, i bought the unit from a guy on the forum and he said that he didnt have to enter a code but it wont let me do anything without the code.

call kenwood with the serial number and see if they will give it to you, you may need some sort of receipt of sale from the guy though or they may charge you.

I've heard if there are codes in a Kenwood Deck you are basically screwed.....Kenwood doesn't use any codes and all codes are user created.....

if i can find this website, u can fix it, dont have to call Kenwood and i doubt they will help u out.

I seem to remember their tech support being able to walk through a reset of the user inputed code, but also remember them charging the customer.
