Kenwood 2-channel power specs

Little confused about my Kenwood KAC-7201 specs. Here's what manual says:

Normal:

4 ohms (20 Hz-20 kHz, 0.08 THD): 150Wx2

4 ohms (DIN, 14.4 V): 150Wx2

2 ohms (1 kHz, 0.8 THD): 230Wx2

Bridged:

4 ohms (1 kHz, 0.8 THD): 460Wx1

I don't understand what the 2 ohm spec is. Each channel is 4 ohm, correct? The amp can only be wired at 4 ohm x 2 channels or bridged 4 ohm x 1 channel. How is the 2 ohm rating wired?

The ohm load is based on what ohm load your speaker has. If you have a dual 2 ohm speaker and run each coil to each channel then you will see a 2ohm load on each channel. That just mean's you can run at lowest a 2ohm load per channel.
